Here's the thing: I love skincare, but I hate makeup. Or—more accurately—I like wearing makeup, but I hate what it does to my skin. I feel like I'm caught in a vicious cycle of fighting blemishes at night, caking them in product to face the day, and then discovering new breakouts that have formed during my attempts to hide others. Exhausting! That's why I finally gave Kosas a try, which touts itself as "clean makeup for skincare freaks." Why it's a game-changer: Kosas beauty products actively work to *improve* your skin rather than clogging your pores all day. I <3 science.

A lil background on the company: Kosas was founded back in 2015 by Sheena Zadeh, who used her biological sciences degree to create cosmetics that nourish instead of just sitting on skin. Not only are they packed with real skincare benefits—Kosas products are also clean, sensitive skin-friendly, and impressively long-wearing. Truly, a dream for my reactive, combination skin. And apparently, I'm not the only one who's obsessed, 'cause when I asked my fellow Cosmo editors about their fave Kosas beauty products, they had a LOT to say.

My fellow editors and I put Kosas' bestselling products to the test, and let me tell you, they delivered. Ahead, check out the Kosas products we deemed the best of the best.

When I polled the Cosmo office about their top Kosas recs, pretty much every editor named the Revealer Concealer as one of their faves. (And considering it's earned over 1,500 five-star reviews on the Kosas site, they clearly aren't the only fans!) Why it's so great: The buildable, skincare-packed formula blends effortlessly, helping to disguise any dark circles, hyperpigmentation, redness, and blemishes like a dream. And rather than just "concealing," it actually works to improve your skin's appearance over time!

"I'm obsessed with the creaminess of this concealer," says Senior Editor Lauren Fisher. "It's easy to apply and blend in without looking or feeling cakey on my skin, especially on my under-eye area. And it's really hydrating on my dry-ish skin, which is always a plus."

As someone who is 1) lazy and 2) hates the feel of a ton of product on my face, this foundation is such a slam-dunk for me. A Cosmo 2024 Readers' Choice Beauty Award-winner, the multifunctional formula acts as an SPF treatment and a medium-coverage foundation all in one—we love to see it! Oh, and it also works to brighten and plump skin with an all-star lineup of ingredients that includes hyaluronic acid, peptides, and (my fave retinol substitute) niacinamide.

Never did I ever think I would find a foundation that actually improved my skin with each wear, but here we are!! I wear this foundation in the Light Neutral shade, and it helps me appear moisturized and dewy rather than slick (as most liquid foundations leave me feeling). Side note: I never look—or feel—like I'm wearing a face full of makeup, which is key for me.

My biggest gripe with mineral sunscreens: So many of them leave an annoying white cast on your skin. Luckily, this tinted sunscreen (which is a Cosmo 2024 Clean Beauty Award-winner) works to neutralize the zinc oxide with your choice of a peachy-pink or soft golden hue. It's packed with peptides and ceramides to visibly plump and smooth skin—and in addition to protecting your skin, this bb doubles as an ideal makeup base.

According to Editor Olivia Truffaut-Wong, "I use the DreamBeam Original shade almost daily as my sunscreen/primer. Any sunscreen that doesn't break me out is immediately a win for me, and this one fits the bill. I also love that its slight tint and brightness makes my skin look a bit more even and healthy, but not overly shiny or glittery. Instead, it just gives my makeup a perfect glowy base."

Calling all my oily-faced cuties: This one's for you. As someone who typically ends the day looking greasier than a slice of pepperoni pizza, this setting powder has been a *total* game-changer for me. Rather than leaving skin cakey and dry, this powder has an airy feel that blurs texture rather than settling into fine lines—and since it's a pressed powder rather than a loose one, there's no need to worry about making a giant mess on your bathroom counter.

I use the Breezy Cloud Set Setting Powder (which has a sheer light finish), and I love how it minimizes the look of my pores and keeps shine at bay. It also manages to keep my makeup from sliding around all day long, which is no easy feat! Next on my list to try: Kosas' new Cloud Set Brightening Powder, which has the same effect with a brightening boost.

Tbh, I've always been very skeptical about natural deodorant. (I mean, can an antiperspirant really keep you fresh without aluminum??) But this one from Kosas may have changed my mind. It uses a powerful blend of AHAs (including shikimic, mandelic, and lactic acids) to deodorize and and exfoliate your underarms, all without relying on aluminum or baking soda. Nourished pits, here you come!!

Cosmo's Olivia Truffaut-Wong notes that—while she doesn't typically like liquid or gel deodorants—this one has won her over. "I love that it has AHAs to fight odor and exfoliate gently, so you get fewer ingrown hairs and less noticeable dark spots," she explains.

Not quite a lip gloss, not quite a lipstick, this tinted balm is a must for anyone who wants a little color and zero cracked lips. Like most Kosas products, it's buildable, so you can slick on as much color as you'd like, and it's chock-full of nourishing ingredients (like squalane and ceramides) to keep lips kissable soft all damn day. And while it has a shiny finish, it never feels sticky—promise.

"The Wet Stick in Island High is one of my absolute favorite lip products of all time," Associate Editor Lauren Gruber raves. "The squalane and mango butter-infused formula leaves my lips feeling sooo smooth and hydrated. I love how the pigment starts off sheer but builds easily, so you can create a more or less intense look, depending on your vibe."

If you're looking for something that'll fluff, define, and set your brows all day long, this lifting gel treatment from Kosas is *it*. Air Brow contains panthenol and hyaluronic acid to help condition your arches, as well as a tripeptide that supports healthier, fuller brow hair. The result: more voluminous brows with *just* the right amount of sheen. And FYI, it also comes in tinted shades for those who want a fuller lewk.

For Deputy Beauty Director Lauren Balsamo, this brow gel is a must-have. "I love how easy this is to use," she explains. "It gives my brows a light tint and fluffy volume without getting all over my skin or flaking off during the day."

Nothing will give you that no-makeup makeup look quite like a BB cream, which offers the same light, undetectable coverage as a tinted moisturizer. The best thing about this one from Kosas: It looks just like your natural skin when applied—but better! The secret is in the copper peptides (which help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles) and the zinc oxide (which is great for alleviating redness and irritation). Plus, it's ah-mazingly hydrating.

As Olivia Truffaut-Wong says, "I love to use BB Burst on days where I don't want to wear a full beat but still want to even out my skin tone and cover up my blemishes. Make no mistake: It does provide a decent amount of coverage (especially if applied with a brush or your fingers vs. a sponge). It's also incredibly easy to blend, so it never leaves streaks and stays moisturizing throughout the day without feeling too greasy."

I've tried lots of different products, and this is the best one I found so far for light buildable coverage that melts into your skin and doesn't smudge or crease! If you prefer the look of microblading over powder brows, this brow pencil is calling your name. It features a triangle-shaped tip on one end for shaping and filling in sparseness with hairlike strokes, while the other end has a spoolie that you can use to brush brows into place. Oh, and btw: Brow Pop is made with castor oil and panthenol, so it helps revive sparse brows and encourage new growth.

"Hands-down, it's my fave eyebrow pencil on the market, and I can always bet that it'll have my brows looking on-point all day long. Heck, I love it so much that whenever I buy it, I purchase a second one as a backup just so that I'm never without it!"

My perpetually-chapped lips tend to look even more bone-dry under a layer of lipstick—which is why I love a nourishing formula like this one. Made with a blend of three butters and six botanical oils (!!), this lippy provides medium coverage with a smooth, satin finish, and the color really does last (as does the creamy hydration it provides!). The Rosewater shade? Cool pink perfection, IMO.

As Lauren Balsamo simply puts it: "The white tee of lipsticks...this is comfy, easy to wear, and a total classic."

A lip liner that amplifies lips without drying them out? Say less! This hydrating liner (which uses hyaluronic acid and konjac root to visibly plump lips upon application) is great for defining and shaping, whether you're looking to create a contoured definition or fill in your lips completely. It also includes a built-in brush and sharpener, which is srsly handy.

According to Associate Editor Siena Gagliano, "On days when my lips are chapped, and it seems as though every lip product will cling to my dry patches, I reach for the Kosas Hotliner. It's a new launch, and it has easily become one of my faves in my makeup collection. It's smooth, creamy, and stays on like a dream!"

I used to be more of a liquid blush girlie, but this product officially converted me to Team Powder Blush. What I love about it: Each shade combines two different tones swirled into one, which gives 'em a multidimensional quality you don't typically find in blushes. Plus, they're made with skin-loving squalane and hyaluronic acid (and exactly zero talc), so they go on so smooth and seamlessly blend in.

I wear this blush in the Blissed shade (which is a warm, peachy pink) and apply it just above my cheekbones to create a ~lifted~ effect. The formula is buildable, so I never have to worry about overdoing it—and the color really does last all day, no matter how much I sweat (which is a lot).
