The 15 Best Products to Shop During the 2024 Sephora Sale

Every item on this page was chosen by an ELLE editor. We may earn commission on some of the items you choose to buy.

With Nécessaire, Crown Affair, Ami Colé, and more featured brands, this is the crème de la crème of sales.

For most people, the most wonderful time of year is the holiday season between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Ask your fellow beauty enthusiasts, and they may have a different answer: the annual Sephora Saving Event. The beauty behemoth’s tentpole savings event is basically a guaranteed antidote to winter blues. Starting today, November 1 until November 11, beauty consumers can shop their favorite brands at a major discount—we’re talking the entire site, including the Sephora Collection.

Here’s the catch: Each Sephora membership tier has a different start date and discount percentage for the Sephora Savings Event. Using the code SAVINGS, Rogue members kick things off on November 1 and earn 20 percent off their purchase. VIB members start on November 5 and take 15 percent off, while Beauty Insiders get 10 percent off. However, everyone earns 30 percent off Sephora Collection for the entirety of the sale. Even better, customers are not limited to a one-time use promotional code and can return to shop the site as much as they want.

Ending just before Thanksgiving rolls around, this sale is the perfect opportunity to get a head start on holiday shopping for the beauty expert or novice in your life. Shop the best lip glosses from brands like Ami Colé and Hourglass or buy yourself a gorgeous new perfume to wear during your holiday party tour. With thousands of pages brimming with products, we understand shopping for the Sephora sale can be overwhelming. To cut through the noise, we polled ELLE editors to find out what wish list items are in their carts.

Why we love it: “When it comes to this product, I don’t care about having blush blindness—it’s that good! If you’re looking for a pigmented liquid blush, Hourglass has perfected it. A little of this product goes a long way—literally, one dot has enough pigment for your entire face. I also love that the formula is infused with hydrating, skin-loving ingredients, so I always feel good about using it.”—Tasha Nicole Smith, ELLE beauty assistant

Why we love it: “For many people, the eyebrows are the most important part of their makeup routine. For me, it’s my under-eyes. I love having a bright under-eye, and the most important part of perfecting my desired look is using this powder. This formula keeps my eye area set all day long without creasing or leaving a chalky finish. I recommended it to all my friends, and now they’re hooked.”—Tasha Nicole Smith

Why we love it: “A nude lip combo will always be my go-to, and this formula has been a favorite of mine for years. When Ami Colé released this peachy-nude shade, I knew I would be obsessed. I love how it gives me the perfect flush of color without being too overwhelming, and it blends perfectly with my brown lip liners, a definite must-have!”—Tasha Nicole Smith

Why we love it: “A girls’ group vacation is my favorite place to scout my next beauty purchase. During a recent one, I spotted my best friend using this concealer, and it instantly brightened and smoothed her under eyes. When I decided to take a few swipes under my eyes, it blended seamlessly into my foundation and completely enhanced the quality of my look. I’m not being dramatic when I say I opened my Sephora app and immediately added it to my wishlist.”—Nerisha Penrose, ELLE.com beauty commerce editor

Why we love it: “My favorite body care combo is an unscented lotion and a fragrant body oil. This oil by Oui the People in the scent Cedarwood is a cozy embrace that smells woodsy and warm, and leaves my skin silky smooth to the touch.”—Nerisha Penrose

Why we love it: “I’m going to let you in on my little secret: The best lip liner is actually an eyeliner. A makeup artist friend advised me to use eyeliner or eyebrow pencil formulas as lip liners because they would last longer, and she was right. This dark brown Iconic London eyeliner adds the most gorgeous brown outline to my lips and stays put through my yap’ sessions and multiple glasses of Sancerre.”—Nerisha Penrose

Why we love it: “I used to be one of those people who only used a Beautyblender or my fingertips for makeup. Then, one day, I saw I had completely missed blending a stripe of foundation into my face (and, of course, I realized this after an important meeting). Just like good knives can make good cooking easier and better, brushes do the same. Brushes are also a nice buy-once-never-do-it-again item, making it a great find to buy during the Sephora sale.”—Kathleen Hou, ELLE beauty director

Why we love it: “My conversion rate of convincing everyone (particularly if you have bangs) to switch to Crown Affair’s powder dry shampoo versus their formerly favorite aerosol is worth bragging about. This set contains many of my favorite brand products, including the leave-in conditioner and a pale green silk hair tie. I like these hair ties because they don’t stretch out as easily as others and don’t snag any strands.”—Kathleen Hou

Why we love it: “For anyone trying to perfect their own lip duo, this kit conveniently has TikTok’s most talked about shades smartly packaged as a set. The shades Wherever Walnut and Anywhere Caffeine went viral mainly because of Hailey Bieber and because they’re flattering on almost every skin tone.”—Kathleen Hou

Why we love it: “I am a big believer in infusing luxury into your everyday life (maybe it’s the double Taurus in me). One of the ways I do so is by choosing shower products that smell incredible. This is the best-smelling body wash I’ve ever used. I honestly wish that Nécessaire would make it into a perfume. It doesn’t just smell good; it’s also infused with liquid Epsom and minerals to help soothe and nourish skin while you cleanse it.”—Katie Berohn, ELLE beauty editor

Why we love it: “My philosophy is that a red lip is the easiest way to look put together in a pinch. Merit’s Signature Lip in Vermillion is my go-to; it doesn’t dry your lips out, it’s buildable, stays in place without bleeding, and has the perfect soft matte finish.”—Katie Berohn

Why we love it: “I own upwards of 70 perfumes—and no, I’m not exaggerating. Out of every perfume in my collection, this one garners me the most compliments. Xtra Milk is a soft skin scent that blends amber, bergamot, and white musk for a really unique finish. It doesn’t smell like you’re wearing perfume—it’s more like if your skin smelled good naturally.”—Katie Berohn

Why we love it: “Gourmands are not usually my thing, yet I’m still fully on board with the milk perfume trend, thanks to this cent from Commodity. You’d think that a milk-inspired perfume might smell sickly sweet or rancid on the skin, but it takes the comforting, slightly sweet vibe of milk and turns it into a warm skin scent I can’t stop smelling.”—Carol Lee, ELLE.com associate beauty e-commerce writer

Why we love it: “Until I stumbled upon this Crown Affair formula, I’ve genuinely never found a leave-in that hydrates my fine strands without weighing them down. The scent is so refreshing and lovely that I got my hands on the brand’s hair perfume and wear it pretty much daily. Meanwhile, the Crown Affair hair towel is the most plush, frizz-fighting one I’ve ever used. If you’re an air-drying enthusiast, it’s a must. All in all, this set is a steal at this price point, and with the extra discount, it’s nearly impossible to pass up.”—Carol Lee

Why we love it: “I don’t know how it’s possible, but mascaras just keep getting better and better. Every time I think I’ve found my mascara for life, I meet another one that blows the other one out of the water. However, right now, I’m not sure I’ll ever find a mascara more perfect than this one from Iris & Romeo. There are three major things I want from my mascara: buildable volume and length, minimal smudging, and relatively easy removal. The Lash Up Peptide mascara does all of that and more. The formula makes my lashes look like falsies, rarely ends up on my under eyes, and washes off with just water and a little bit of regular facial cleanser. Plus, the brush curls my lashes (I could honestly throw out my curler at this point), and the peptides inside the formula really do seem like they’re boosting the health of my lashes as well.”—Carol Lee
