Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart latest A-lister to debut a skin care line

Riverdale star Lili Reinhart has launched a beauty line for acne-prone skin.

Personal Day is a five-strong range which claims to use formulations that help prevent breakouts and boost skin health.

The 28-year-old American actress, who has suffered with acne, worked with dermatologist Shelagh Wong to create the collection.

Wong is listed as co-founder and CEO of the brand.

Reinhart rose to fame playing Betty Cooper on Netflix series Riverdale and has 25.1 million followers on Instagram and 6.8 million on TikTok.

“With lived experience for the acne journey, we understand the impact it can have on more than just your skin,” Reinhart posted on Instagram.

“Which is why we are here to bring balance to the journey, with products that both treat acne immediately, and strengthen the skin over time for long term health and clarity.

“The Personal Day difference? Every formula is dermatologist developed to be 100% free of acne-triggering ingredients commonly found in other skin care and beauty products.”

Personal Day’s range comprises Full Clarity Cleansing Powder, which uses fine micro-exfoliants to clear pores without stripping the skin of moisture.

Doing the Work Acne Treatment is formulated with salicylic acid to clear active breakouts, while azelaic acid and niacinamide minimise redness and even skin tone.

Lightweight Dive Deep Mevalonic Moisturizer is packed with ingredient Mevalonic Acid, which the brand claims repairs skin at a molecular level, while boosting the natural production of hyaluronic acid and collagen.

Even Keel Resurfacing Peel features a blend of BHAs and AHAs to target acne-related congestion.

Everybody Stay Calm Recovery Mask, meanwhile, claims to calm inflammation, reduce redness and tackle dryness.

The collection is vegan, cruelty-free, non-comedogenic and clinically tested to “ensure safety”, especially for those who use acne medication, claims the brand.

Personal Day products range from $24 to $38.
